Origin of Parts

If you need to know where that loved Rochdale part came from in the first place then have a look at the list below! It's not complete yet, but hopefully we should have a complete list soon! If you know of any origins of Rochdale parts then add it to the Forum below using the name of the part as your title and I'll update it to the list when I get the chance. If you think any of the information is wrong let me know. ( Disclaimer, This list may be wrong so I'm not going to held responsible if you suffer from the consequences of fitting the part stated, double check!)

Origin of Parts List:-

Wheels

Phase 1:  These are Morris Minor, Riley or Wolsely wheels that are 3" x 14" dia. Piercing of the wheels was an optional extra and consists of 8 x 1.25" dia holes arranged in pairs.

Phase 2:  I believe these wheels are 4.5" x 14" sourced from the Vauxhall Victor. These need special nuts as the Vauxhall used a large diameter stud. Piercing of the wheels was an optional extra and consists of 8 x 1.25" dia holes arranged in pairs.

Front Suspension

Phase 1

Lights

I believe the phase 1 and 2 both have the same sets of lights.

The rear stop/tail  lamp is a Red Lucas L551

The rear indicator lamp is a Amber Lucas L539

The rear reversing light looks as though it was a mixture of two Lucas lights. One incorporated a number plate light and one was just a reversing lamp. I think from what I've seen the one with the reversing lamp was used most on Olympics.

Reversing lamp without  number plate light is a clear Lucas L488

Reversing Lamp with the number plate  light is Lucas L574
